Went to see the Mayflower on Tuesday but it was docked for the season. Saw Plymouth Rock though, point where the pilgrims landed in America in 1620.

Went to the mall down in Rhode Island yesterday. Isn't it pretty?

Went down to the beach to watch the sunset this evening. It was shocking pink and purple. Sheets of white ice glistened beyond the sand at the water's edge. It was cold.

I just saw a raccoon this morning. He walked right up to the back door before wandering off over the hill again. Then I saw a Northern Cardinal on a branch. Such a beautiful bird.

Well. I'm in the US at last. Who would have thought eh?

Visited a middle school today and sat in a classroom helping out with the "store". This was after visiting the local veterinary practice and getting a personal tour from one of the vets. She was great. She put in a good word about me to the manager. The manager gave me her email address and I have to mail her in May to sort out a 3 month paid internship there next summer. Wow!

My scopes for today..

It's time to come back down from that natural high you've been on for the last couple of days. Turn around a negative day, and let it shine in a positive light. You have the ability to make any situation appear better than it actually is. Take responsibility for your actions this afternoon.
